Game of Thrones Season 7, Episode 6 leaked by HBO partner
The new episode was set for a broadcast premier on Sunday, August 20. This isn’t the first leak, though. Episode 4 also got out early, though HBO claimed it had nothing to do with the hack. The cable company explained the leak was a direct result of a mess from one of their distribution partners. It was none other than Star India.
Unfortunately for the four individuals from Star India, they got arrested. Official reports stated that they had prior access to the release of Game of Thrones Season 7, Episode 4.

Going back to the latest leak, it appears to be an unintentional error. However, HBO already revealed that their security practices would be much tighter than before. This can be reportedly expected across the network, not just their GOT content.

Apart from being one of the most popular shows in television, Game of Thrones also remains to be one of the most downloaded torrents. In fact, as soon as the latest season premiered, it quickly became the most popular pirated show in 2017. There have been more or less 90 million illegal downloads already, and this happened in the first three days only.
If HBO is really serious in fixing this leak issues, they need to do it quickly. But for the fans out there, they obviously want to watch these leaks right away. It just goes to show how well-loved Game of Thrones is.
