Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Comes to Town!

Finally! A sweet looking DLC to the much sought after franchise of Dishonored has been released just recently. And must we say that it looks absolutely wicked? We loved both Dishonored 1 and 2 and got really into the stories of Emily and Corvo plus the realism of the open world that they live; so believable, in fact, that we could almost smell the pollution from the smoke stacks.

Arkane Studios has made public a gameplay introduction trailer for Dishonored: Death of the Outsider and it demonstrates some genuinely wonderful in-game moments! Demonstrating minutes with what appears to be in normal settings yet it looks freakin' amazing! The world setting looks immensely psychedelic, in a good way, at it appears to continue on the main storyline of the game wherein you get to have your mentor, Daud sends you off to uncover some deep secrets relating to the Outsider, the main magic wielder of that universe.

The main character looks devastatingly badass and that sword is looking pretty awesome too! This main character seems to be a new female protagonist which is an interesting change. Based on what we saw on the trailer, the game seems to tip heavily towards frontal assault and hand-to-hand combat as well as more use of magic, something which deviates from the more stealthy approach that the first two games seem to favor. This could be a deal-breaker for some and may well be a cool addition for others. We will have to play the actual game to see for ourselves.
