After filming the highly anticipated “Avengers: Infinity
War,” Marvel immediately proceeded to work on “Avengers 4” and began their
production in Atlanta. And with this, speculations transpired after some images
from the set became viral on Twitter.
It’s been a Marvel tradition to have a different Iron Man suit
design everytime he makes an appearance in a movie set in the Marvel Cinematic
Universe. However, it seems that some circumstances in the upcoming Infinity
War would require him to upgrade (or replace) his current Arc Reactor.
Set images showing Iron Man’s new Arc Reactor design became
viral after getting posted on Atlanta Filming’s Twitter account. In the image,
we can see a close-up of Tony’s new Arc Reactor rocking a new design. The device
has seen several iterations throughout the various Marvel films Iron Man
appeared. But considering the basic circular and triangular design of the
previous Arc Reactor designs, this latest iteration appears to be the most
intricate of them all.

As an addition to the Arc Reactor, they also caught a picture of some sort of a new cyber-wrist watch that Tony wears. The purpose of this device is yet to be revealed. However, many speculations are already swirling among the fans. One popular theory is that it is connected to the brand new Arc Reactor.

By the end of the third “Iron Man” film, Tony had been
successful in removing his Arc Reactor from his chest. For those who don’t
know, Arc Reactor was a power core designed by Tony and a fellow captive Dr.
Yinsen while under the captivity of the Afghan terrorists. In “Iron Man 3,” he
finally succeeded in removing the device. However, it appears that the
aftermath of the “Avengers: Infinity War” would give him a reason to equip an
Arc Reactor again as the recently revealed images suggest.
Another thing to consider is the new gizmo-watch he wears in
one of the photos. Could this be connected to the new Arc Reactor? As of now,
countless speculations revolving around the photos are already swirling on the
internet. Marvel is yet to confirm the purpose of the new Arc Reactor.
“Avengers: Infinity War” stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris
Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Tom Holland, Scarlett
Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin
Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Josh Brolin.
Joe and Anthony Russo helmed the production of the film as
the directors based on the script written by Christopher Markus and Stephen
McFeely.
