Blizzard recently announced that it would be releasing new Overwatch skins to mark the inauguration of Overwatch League. Now, the studio revealed that it would be giving away 100 free League Tokens. There is a catch, though: Players will have to sign up for the league’s mailing list.

The studio also said that in order for a player to acquire extra tokens, he/she must have a good standing in Overwatch. That basically means not having any report for bad behavior which seems to be unlikely for most players these days. In terms of signing up for the mailing list, Dot Esports reports that players have the freedom to choose which team to subscribe to updates. If they are a Florida Mayhem fan, then they select the team from the drop-down menu.

To receive the League Tokens, players must provide their email address which they use in their Battle.net accounts. Remember that 100 tokens are equivalent to one Overwatch League skin. Subscription to the mailing list for the free tokens is open until January 31.

Aside from adding new Overwatch skins, Blizzard also introduced a new in-game feature called Overwatch League tab. This allows players to select a team and browse through all the team-designed skins for all 26 heroes.

The League skins – 312 all in all – were made available last January 9, just a day before the highly-anticipated Overwatch League. The latter is set on January 10.

For players who want to purchase the Overwatch League skins using real-world currency, Blizzard just revealed the rates. Each skin can be purchased for $5 or 100 tokens. Interestingly, the studio is offering various packages. For $10, players can get 100 tokens; $20 for 400 tokens, $40 for 900 tokens, and $100 for 2,600 tokens.

It is worth noting that tokens will appear sometime before February ends. So, there is no need to worry if they do not appear immediately in the Overwatch account. Apparently, though, the video game company has no plans adding the new skins to loot boxes. For now, the best way to acquire them is either through tokens or real-world money.
