These Architecturally Inspired Desserts Prove That The Cake Is Not A Lie

The magnificent creations which you're about to see below are the work of an architect named Dinara Kasko, a culinary expert in pastries from Ukraine and is a master of infusing the art of baking with geometric figures and structural outlines. She treats her pastries as though they were structures, but, boy, does she make the most delectable kind of structures ever.

Kasko told So Good Magazine that she has "...many unrealized ideas and a great desire to experiment." And so she did, with creating stunning pieces on cakes that have aesthetically pleasing cuts and angles that make anyone think twice about eating them. "I don’t want to imitate others; I want to create something new,” she adds.

The Ukrainian building designer-turned-baker utilizes the aptitudes she procured from her past employment, including mathematics, algorithms, and complex diagramming systems, to make delights that look so great that you won't know whether to eat them or look at them in awe.

These elegant masterpieces are sure to attract some people. And true enough, her Instagram has over 430,000 followers who are all hungry for her creations. In her page she says, “I want to make something interesting and fresh, experimenting with new creative ideas.”
